This quarter we focused on the second pillar of
HH@WA’s Work Well℠ Model, Believe ● Belong ● Become℠.
BELONG is the understanding that, in order to thrive, every leader, every manager and every employee needs to belong to a network of like-minded believers where health improvement ideas and resources can be shared and everyone has support!
Conflict is an unavoidable part of workplace relationships, but if not handled productively, can affect employee’s stress level and mental health. HH@WA Business Members got together in June at UHA’s Wellness Institute for an exclusive half-day workshop with Sarah Kalicki-Nakamura of TH!NK LLC to further explore what was covered at our May General meeting.
At this half-day workshop, 20 participants were given tools using The Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict model to improve self-awareness around conflict behaviors and help them curb destructive behaviors so that conflict can become more productive.
Let’s face it, conflict can be a source of pain for managers, businesses and even families. But knowing how to deal with conflict can make a company a better place when employees’ know how to move from a destructive to a productive mindset when dealing with issues.
